Our story
Pete and Ethan founded ItellAI after months spent studying the rapidly growing AI landscape, trialling tools in real businesses, and shaping implementation strategies that work for small teams. We started by helping local firms streamline inboxes, spreadsheets and customer support. The goal was—and still is—simple: cut admin, speed decisions, protect data. Today we bring that same pragmatic approach to SMEs across the UK.
How UK SMEs can integrate AI (high level)
1) Start with outcomes
Pick 2–3 high‑frequency, rule‑based tasks (email triage, invoice capture, lead qualification). Attach each to a KPI like hours saved or error rate.
2) Use proven tools first
Lean on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace features, then layer Zapier/Make and trusted UK vendors. Custom models only when needed.
3) Govern from day one
UK GDPR‑aligned practices: data minimisation, role‑based access, model usage policies, human‑in‑the‑loop checks and DPIAs.
4) Train & measure
Provide playbooks and examples. Track adoption and ROI for 4–8 weeks, then scale what works.
Benefits & tools (examples)
